Spiritual Birth Year

I was raised in a post-Catholic household for the first 8 years of my life, and my parents came to know Christ around 1998 or 1999 at Xenos Christian Fellowship in Cincinnati. I started going to their youth ministry while my parents would attend the Central Teachings on Thursday nights. At some point around 8 or 9 years old, I remember asking God, "If you're there, I would like your forgiveness to count for me. I know I'm messed up." I think that was when I was saved.
Fast forward about 10 years of doing nothing with my faith, lots of anger, fairly constant depression, and then I was invited to another church in Cincinnati, with a vibrant college/post-college group, and I got excited about following God and reaching the lost. During my senior year of high school, I met Kyle and Keith and some of the other IP guys, and kept in contact with them off and on for the next year and a half or so, before finally deciding to move to Kent, attend Kent State, and be a part of NEOXenos and Identity Project.
It's been an awesome, fantastic journey so far, and I'm looking forward to what God has in store.
